11 French Sterling Silver Shot Glasses / Liqueur / Bar 950/1000 1795-1809

This auction is for a very rare set of 11 french sterling silver shot glasses / liquor / liqueur / bar tumblers. The pieces are in overall excellent condition for their age (approximately 222 years)  with some signs of use, scratches from polishings, and some minor denting/creases (see attached pictures. I don't have a scale so I am not able to disclose the weight of the set but the tumblers are a little larger and heavier than my other tumbler auctions. The tumblers are approximately 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/2" wide. The makers mark is B T S under a face inside a diamond but I am not able to identify this specific mark. Each piece is marked with the COQ 1 facing right which indicates 950 / 1000 and 1798 - 1809.  There is another mark with a woman's face and a 1 to the bottom right and was an unofficial mark used between 1795 and 1797.  Based upon these two marks I believe these cups were made in 1797 but sold in 1798 since they couldn't be sold until they had an official mark.  The tumblers are fantastic and would make a great addition to anyone's collection and are ready for entertaining.
