Here we have a Professionally Refurbished, Harman/Kardon AVR 254!
I have been in the Audio/Video business for more than 30 years. I love playing and comparing high quality components!
Over the years, I have consistently been impressed with harman/kardon receivers and components. They seem to go the extra mile to insure exceptional musical quality and rock solid performance. I have owned and enjoyed several HK receivers in my time.
One of the best 'Bang for the Buck' receivers I have owned is the AVR254. It incorporates Solid Power, Exceptional Musicality, and an automatic room calibration/equalization system that allows you to quickly match your speakers (any brand!) to the individual characteristics of your own room!
Over the years, I have collected various components that have come my way, and now I have a storage area packed full of exceptional components that I will never use.
This harman/kardon AVR254 came from Magnolia/BestBuy's DealTree division that specializes in checking, analyzing, repairing, rejuvenating components to Like New condition!
I discovered this receiver, stowed away in the Deal Tree shipping box, still wrapped in the protective covering. The shipping label shows that it has been sitting patiently in that box since 2010!
It did not come with the H/K remote control, but a search of my remote control stash revealed the exact remote control for the AVR 254, that incorporates the test microphone for the automatic room set up feature!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my AVR 254 in the past, and I am certain you will love this almost new one as well!
