    Description

    Up for Buy-It-Now is a rare new old stock (without the box) oil pump assembly with a casting number of 40547.  This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part. According to my vintage manuals, this is used on the following models and years:
    1935, 1936, & 1937 Nash Ambassador Twin Ignition Eight
    The oil pump is in brand new, never used condition and shows no indication it was ever mounted or installed.  The keyed shaft is free and functions properly.  It will however may need to be oiled and worked as it is a bit snug from many many years of shelf storage. There is some extremely minor surface on the piece from storage.  May or may not need a light polishing up before installation. As mentioned,  cast on the piece is 40547.
