McDonald's founder Richard McDonald typed letter signed, reading in part, "…This will have to be a brief note as I have just returned from the hospital where I had an operation. / I am enclosing an item I thought you might find interesting. This was an ad [not included] that resulted in the start of the entire fast food industry…[signed] Richard McDonald / Founder of McDonald's". Single page letter is dated 3 May 1992, signed by McDonald in blue ballpoint on his personal letterhead. Puncture at lower left, else near fine condition. With JSA COA.
