Unbelievable Collection Of Christofle French Silver Plate Mostly New Old Stock.
I am helping a friend sell his family's collection of Christofle flatware and holloware. In the 1990s his parents were doctors in Saudi Arabia and a Christofle store was cleaning out inventory in anticipation of a renovation and expansion. They purchased an extensive service for 12 people in the Marly pattern with a good many serving utensils. Additionally, they bought several holloware serving pieces. Most of these pieces have sat unused and a significant amount of them remain in their original packaging, some still sealed from the factory. For the 12 place settings they have dinner knives, dinner forks, teaspoons, tablespoons, pastry forks, dessert forks, after dinner coffee spoons, ice cream spoons, and dessert spoons. That's 108 pieces right there. For serving pieces there are a salad fork and spoon, carving fork and knife, fish fork and knife, cold meat fork, pie server, ice tongs, gravy ladle, fat/lean ladle, soup ladle, cream ladle, boiled potato ladle, ice cream server, condiment ladle, two serving spoons, serving pork, cheese knife, and sugar tongs. Holloware pieces include a loop handled basket, three covered terrains, and ice bucket, a fish platter, two large serving platters, salt and pepper shakers, and a somaliers wine taster. There are also a letter opener, a bottle opener, and a vase. I have a great deal more photographs than just what I've shared here. I will not peace out the collection so please don't ask. For shipping the entire collection will be brought to a local UPS Store and I will have them pack it, insure it, and ship it professionally.
