Listed here is the Parker British Duofold. This particular model would appear to be from the 1950s given the 'N' designation on the nib which predates the numbered system.  The 1950s model was the first of the Duofolds to incorporate the popular Parker 51 squeeze filling system also known as the Aerometric filling system. These are solid streamlined pens manufactured with tight tolerances. This is the full-size of standard sized pen.

AP and BARREL
The cap is in EXCELLENT condition with no scratches, cracks, and/or chips. The plating of cap band and clip are showing are in very good condition which is strange given the wear to the imprint on the barrel.
The barrel is in VERY GOOD condition. The barrel imprints on the pen are light.
The cap screws securely onto the barrel threads. The filling system casing shows pitting to the metal. I have replaced the old sac with a brand new Parker 51 Pli-Glass sac. The pen is in great condition.
14K GOLD PARKER DUOFOLD NIB
The nib on this pen is its original and correct Parker Duofold 14K gold fine/medium nib. There is a lot of tipping material left. The imprints are entirely present. The tines are perfectly aligned and the nib is oriented properly on the ebonite feed. The nib is nice and smooth with optimal flow for vellum paper. I used it on Tomoe River paper. The nib on this pen is firm and is well suited for general writing and fast note taking as most British Duofold nibs are. It is quite smooth.
RESTORATION SERVICES
This Parker British Duofold has been cleaned and tested for function (filling and writing). It is READY TO WRITE upon filling with standard fountain pen ink.
A NEW Pli-Glass Sac
has been properly installed with the appropriate lubrication.
Renaissance Wax
(yes, only the best) has been sparingly applied to the surface to protect and preserve the vintage plastic and gold-plated
surfaces. Renaissance Wax, a blend of micro-crysta

s used by professional vintage pen restorers and other esteemed institutions such as the British Museum. It is great for protecting metal from oxidation and for protecting surfaces that often come into contact with hands.

Beyond making sure that the pens I restore write, I like to make sure they write well. Using a loupe, premium micro-abrasives, and when necessary, specially made nib repair tools each nib is carefully adjusted to provide an enjoyable writing experience suited to the particular characteristics of the nib.

). The pen is held in place in the tube with foam inserts. In the shipping box the pen tube is wrapped in bubble wrap and secured in place with eco-friendly packing peanuts.

To International Bidders: For overseas shipping I will send your pen in a USPS Priority Mail International Flat Rate® box (6-10 Business Days). This is better than First Class Mail.
